Mark was invited to attend a RPLNISH trip during a time of transition. He shares this story and encourages pastors and leaders to find their way onto an RPLNISH Experience.

JP had been on a few RPLNISH trips but his biggest challenge lay before him. Thankfully RPLNISH was there when he needed us.

Read More

The Gift of RPLNISH

Recently, I sat with a local pastor who, as I listened closely, shared that he was tired, worn down, and nearing burnout. I’m sure, like my friend (and like many pastors and leaders) you’ve felt that same quiet fatigue… the slow drain of what can feel like death by a thousand paper cuts. Perhaps this is why Scripture continually calls us back to rhythms of community and renewal; places where we can get and stay replenished.

When Running on Empty Becomes the Norm

National research data supports what many of us already know from personal experience. Studies show that a growing number of pastors are considering stepping away from ministry, while many report living under significant, ongoing stress… mentally, emotionally, relationally, financially, spiritually, and physically. Left unattended, this kind of languishing can lead to anxiety, depression, and ultimately burnout.

And burnout is real. When it hits, it impacts not only the leader, but their family and the church they love and serve. Friend, when it comes to burnout, you’re never alone. I know, because I’ve been there.

My Journey from Burnout to Replenishment

My own journey toward replenishment has not been easy. Saved, baptized, and filled with the Spirit early in life, he sensed a clear call to ministry and now serves as an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God. With 25+ years of vocational pastoral ministry experience, he holds a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership (Church Revitalization) and is completing a Doctor of Ministry in Organizational & Strategic Leadership (Growing & Multiplying Churches).

A defining moment came in 1997 when Ryan met Mother Teresa in Calcutta, India. Her words, “You can do what I cannot do, I can do what you cannot do; together we can do great things,” ignited his lifelong passion to win souls and multiply disciple-makers.

Ryan has served in many ministry roles, such as lead pastor, author, church consultant, and worship leader. His personal life mission is: to joyfully make himself a servant to all in order to win as many people as possible to Christ (1 Corinthians 9:19, TPT).

Ryan is passionate about soul care. With a heart to help pastors and ministry leaders get and stay replenished, Ryan is honored to now serve as RPLNISH’s new Director of Strategic Church Relations.

Ryan enjoys drinking coffee, reading, riding his Harley-Davidson, playing games, and of course, laughing with his family and friends.

The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me: your love. O Lord, endure forever—do not abandon the works of your hands.

Psalm 138:8

The profound beauty of prayer lies in its ability to bring our raw, honest emotions to the feet of Jesus while reminding us of His unwavering faithfulness. We present our authentic selves, and God fills us to overflowing simply by being in His presence. Prayer provides a sacred space where we can confront our doubts, disappointments, and fears. It is also the posture we assume to battle and fight to remember the faithfulness of the God we serve.

Unfortunately, many pastors today are overwhelmed with their own defeat. They are burdened by their own disappointments and fears while simultaneously striving to lead a flock. They endeavor to encourage the sheep and remind them of the faithfulness of their Good Shepherd, Jesus, while grappling with their own struggle to remember God's faithfulness. As we pray for our Replenish Pastors and Pastor Wives this month, may we pray that they find the space to kneel before the throne of God and be honest with their own struggles and doubts. In doing so, may God remind them of His abundant faithfulness to them. May they lead out of the overflow of God’s presence. After all, that is who God is—He is only faithful. God has not and will not abandon them. His purposes in their lives will be fulfilled!

Thank You, Lord, that You will fulfill Your kingdom purpose in each and every pastor/pastor wife’s life

<span...Read More

Why Good Friday is Good.

The following blog is from our good friend Paul Cole of Christian Men's Network.

The underlying reason “Good Friday” is good, is because of Sunday. The crucifixion of Christ is fulfilled in the resurrection. His blood shed for us, his victory over death, his triumphant breakout from the tomb – that’s what it’s about for you and me – our lives get to breakout of all the corruption, turmoil, depression and sin of this world into a new life in Jesus Christ!

Good Friday is good because of redemption!

The Bible is very clear that the cross was a place of mercy for you.

Jesus forever defeated the lies, power and position of the enemy. The position of the enemy today is, he is under the power of the Word of God, under the authority of the believer and beneath the feet of those who walk in peace with God through Christ.

Most likely Jesus was crucified on a Thursday evening, as the arrangements were being made for the Passover and temple celebrations – then His coming out of the tomb would have happened before daylight on Sunday morning.

In the Jewish world a day started at sunset on the previous...Read More

This article will give a few more details about Pastor's Mayday and break down the next steps.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PASTOR'S MAYDAY?

It is difficult for pastors to talk about themselves and be vulnerable about their job and ministry. It is equally difficult for pastors to tell people how freakin awesome they are, especially from the pulpit.

This is the reason behind this yearly initiative. To give pastors a way to talk about pastoring, the good and the bad, but not make it a passionate plea for help or a generous raise.

By being part of Pastor's Mayday, pastors and parishioners can share the real story from the pulpit and on their social media. We can talk about pastors, pray for them and even raise some funds for special projects to help pastors stay healthier and in ministry longer.

So get ready to begin, praying, posting and talking about pastors. We start in May.

WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS?

1. Register here.

2. Pick your level of involvement. Detailed explanation here.

    * Help

     * Investment

     * All in

3. Begin praying and posting. You can pray on your own or join our prayer team for some bullet points. You can also begin posting, liking, sharing and whatever else you want to do on social media. You can curate your own posts or download our templates (below).

4 Join the RPLNISH mailing list and encourage...Read More

Pastor's Mayday 2026

SAVE THE MONTH!

Pastor's Mayday 2026, is coming. We will talk about pastors all month and the actual day is May 17, 2026.

WHAT IS PASTOR'S MAYDAY?

Everyone talks about pastors and we want to increase that. Pastors are amazing humans. We need to talk about how we are all better because of their investment in our lives and communities. They also have a very demanding responsibility and experience some challenges; we can talk about that too.

Pastor's Mayday helps stir up the conversation and provide resources to help.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

We need churches and individuals to help spread the word about pastors.

1. SOCIAL MEDIA - Post, share, like and interact on your personal and church social media accounts. You can create your own content or use ours (coming soon). Don't forget to tag #RPLNISH. Our socials are here.

2. PRAY - You can join our prayer team or follow our blogs for prayer updates.
