This article will give a few more details about Pastor's Mayday and break down the next steps.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PASTOR'S MAYDAY?
It is difficult for pastors to talk about themselves and be vulnerable about their job and ministry. It is equally difficult for pastors to tell people how freakin awesome they are, especially from the pulpit.
This is the reason behind this yearly initiative. To give pastors a way to talk about pastoring, the good and the bad, but not make it a passionate plea for help or a generous raise.
By being part of Pastor's Mayday, pastors and parishioners can share the real story from the pulpit and on their social media. We can talk about pastors, pray for them and even raise some funds for special projects to help pastors stay healthier and in ministry longer.
So get ready to begin, praying, posting and talking about pastors. We start in May.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED, AND HOW DO I GET MY CHURCH INVOLVED?
Pastor's Mayday is primarily a campaign to give pastors and leaders an opportunity to talk about pastors; it is equally important to involve others, like congregants, to do the same. Yes, there is a fundraising component that helps RPLNISH provide opportunities for other pastors and leaders. It is a way to pay it forward. See more about the 2026 projects here and donate here.

Every 4-6 weeks, we send out a prayer update. We share the need of pastors in general and specific (although anonymous) needs from those who have been on a recent RPLNISH Experience with us.
