WHY DO I NEED RPLNISH EXPERIENCE?
We get this question a lot. Let me start by saying the number one comment we hear from RPLNISH attendees is, "I didn't know how tired I was and that I was doing this on my own without the help of the Holy Spirit."
The ramifications of this are huge. First of all, leaders go all the time. We are always leading, helping, and helping others, yet we often find it difficult to make time or find a reason to help ourselves. This most likely means we are not leading as effectively as we can. We do a lot; we give our best, but we are not being the stewards of ourselves.
Imagine walking through life only half-present, or trying to give 100% but only being able to give half because you are not full. Your family and those you lead deserve better. On RPLNISH Experiences, we do lots of soul care, and when our soul is full and healthy, we are better: we are better spouses, parents, bosses, leaders, and pastors. A healthy soul enables us to lead from our overflow. When our soul is healthy and full, we are better leaders, pastors, parents, friends, and more.
A FEW MORE REASONS YOU NEED A TRIP.
1. It is quite possible you are lonelier than you think. Being at the top is exhilarating and fun. As they say, it is lonely at the top, and it really can be. You lead hard, you run fast, and you can outpace your friends, your peers, and even your soul. That quiet tug in your heart could be a need for connection. When you are quiet and still, your soul will tell you what you need. Being still is a choice we don't often make, but on a RPLNISH EXPERIENCE, it's easy.
2. You need a friend. When we exist only in the confines of our building, we become insular. Without realizing it, we have lost touch with our peers and personal social network. We have great working relationships, strong employee interaction, and good office relationships, but few friends. It's time to make some new ones. The second thing we hear most on RPLNISH Experiences is, I am so glad I now have a new group of friends.
3. You need a safe space. Life can get busy and messy. Connections become political, rumors can fly, and you need to get away. Gaining perspective is a gift. It takes time away, intentionality, and what we call clear space to receive the present of presence. We spend the first 30 hours of a RPLNISH Experience setting the tone, the safe space. When you are in a secure and comfortable environment with unknown and safe peers, you can process problems, gain perspective and let your soul breathe.
4. You need some fun. As the saying goes, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Come on, Jack, liven up. On RPLNISH Experiences, we have fun. We fish, we hike, we shoot, we ride, and experience clear space. In the context of rest, eating well, and laughter, and in a safe space, fun happens. Loosen up and have some fun.
